Abstract
The results of investigations on the fungus resistance of organosilicon sealants, specifically Viksint U-4-21 and Viksint U-2-28, are presented. It is shown that the introduction of 0.1 wt % of the antiseptic additive thiuram into the sealant formulation does not affect their main operational properties and enhances fungus resistance of the sealants up to 1 point.
