Climatic resistance of adhesive joints

Abstract

The description of tests of adhesive joints performed with adhesives developed at the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Russian Institute of Aviation Materials (VIAM) on the stability against the effect of exploitation and climatic factors is given. The importance of conducting preliminary tests for the atmosphere resistance under the laboratory conditions for epoxy adhesives is validated. A description of the test conditions for climatic stability carried out by the leading foreign aircraft construction companies is given.
