Surface preparation for gluing

Abstract

The methods of surface preparation for gluing in relation to substrates from aluminium alloys, constructional and corrosion-resistant steels, and polymer composites are described. The technological parameters of surface preparation are specified. The potential backlashes for the gluing process and the quality of adhesive structures due to deviations from the assigned technological parameters are shown.
