Abstract

Reasons that determine the necessity for the development of polymer tools based on the melt of BSO-200 binder are reported. The production technology of small-sized and geometrically simple parts, as well as oversized parts using polymer tools, is discussed. The advantages and prospects of using tools made from polymer composites as compared with metal tools under the conditions of modern commercial production are mentioned.
