Abstract

Illustrated descriptions of two species of free-living nematodes Tobrilus securus sp. n. and Paramphidelus paludicola Gagarin, 1991, found in Lake Baikal are given. T. securus sp. n. resembles the endemic of Lake Baikal T. bekmanae Tsalolichin, 1975, but differs from it by a longer tail, shorter outer labial setae, shorter stoma, and a different structure of spicules. Paramphidelus paludicola has been earlier described by three females from Lake Taimyr. It is the second finding of this species and the first description of a male.
