Electron properties of p-CdS films

Abstract

The results of experimental studies in which it is possible to reproducibly change the electrophysical properties of polycrystalline samples of cadmium sulphide of p-type in a wide range are presented in the work. The films and polycrystalline samples of p-CdS were obtained and their electrophisical properties were studied: the Hall coefficient, thermal EMF, and electrical conductance in an interval of 80–300 K were measured. The dependence of the photosensitivity on the specific conductance of p-CdS, first generalized on basis of the experimental data, is presented.
