Abstract
The two-component composition consisting of complex copper Cu(II) compounds and cationic surface-activated substance cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) exhibits high catalytic reactivity during decomposition of tert-butyl hydroperoxide. One specific characteristic of the effects of the Cu(II) + CTAB binary system consists in its high rate of processing without visible signs of deactivation in the transformation of significant amounts of the reagent in optimum temperature conditions.
