Two-velocity dynamics of compressible heterophase media

Abstract

A thermodynamically consistent model of the two-velocity dynamics of heterophase media is presented. The model assumes phase equilibrium in temperature and the absence of phase equilibrium in pressure. Convective and forced flows of a mixture of compressible viscous fluids are numerically investigated.
