Abstract

The kinetic features of the dibutyltin dilaurinate-catalyzed and noncatalyzed reactions of 1,6-hexamethylene diisocyanate with azide-containing oligodiols of various structures and molecular masses are studied. The accelerating effect of azide groups on urethane formation, which is determined by the possibility of activation of free hydroxyl groups via complexation with azide-containing fragments of side chains of oligomers, is established.
