Abstract
The mechanism of energy dissipation and the modulus defect in filled, plasticized, and filled and plasticized poly(vinyl chloride) and poly(vinylbutyral) were studied. It was shown that both fixed and loose segments of macromolecular chain contribute to the dependence of stress on strain during motion induced by temperature and ultrasonic fields. Ways of controlling the viscoelastic properties of the systems are specified.
