Abstract
The variant of swapping the thyratron switch with a thyristor switch in the power supply of Nuclotron Booster inflector plates is considered. The results of measuring the switching time as a function of the operating voltage are presented. It is shown that the real switching time agrees with the requirements. The new scheme was tested on the Booster synchrotron of the NICA complex.
