Abstract

The Multi-Purpose Detector (MPD) is the main experiment at the NICA collider in Dubna. The construction of MPD consists of many detectors and components. The variety of materials in construction and the nested design leads to the impact of inner MPD detectors to the work of outer ones and studies of their material budgets are very important. In this work the study of material budget of the Electromagnetic Calorimeter (ECal), Forward Hadron Calorimeter (FHCal) and Time-Projection Chamber (TPC) for MPD experiment is presented in details.
