Abstract
A simple and efficient trigger for selecting the rare \({J \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {J \psi }} \right. \kern-0em} \psi } \to {{\mu }^{ + }}{{\mu }^{ - }}\) events in the CBM experiment is proposed. The trigger fully relies on the signals from coordinate detectors of the MUCH muon system.
