Abstract
The model is constructed within the framework of the Symanzik approach to describe the interaction of fields of quantum electrodynamics with extended objects. The scattering of a Dirac particle on a homogeneous and isotropic material plane is studied. Results are obtained and presented for transmission and reflection amplitudes of a plane wave, for a given polarization, energy, and momentum, as functions of the model parameters. The transmission and reflection coefficients are given for particles motion in the orthogonal to the plane direction.
