A multi-interval MBSC theory for active correlations technique

Abstract

The purpose of the paper to develop a formalism to treat rare events, especially when one applies the “active correlation” method to suppress background products in the heavy-ion induced complete fusion nuclear reactions. This formalism is in fact an extension of classical BSC formalism for the case of time multi intervals.
