Abstract

A calorimetric investigation of the synthesized nanotubular hydrosilicates based on compounds of the variable composition (Mg,Ni)3Si2O5(OH)4 with a chrysotile structure is performed on a Tian-Calvet high-temperature heat-flux microcalorimeter. The enthalpies of formation of the hydrosilicates from elements at a temperature of 298.15 K are determined using oxide melt solution calorimetry.
