Abstract

Methodological and organizational problems of analyzing and assessing the competitiveness of various objects are considered (such as technologies, products, and services), as well as the competitive potential of hierarchically structured objects (such as a national economy, a complex of industries, a cluster, or an industry). Relevant definitions are given as well as information acquisition methods and evaluation methods allowing for initial conditions. Evaluation and analytical methods are illustrated.
