Abstract
The reaction of 1,4-dithiane-2,5-diol with 2-sulfanylbenzohydrazide afforded 55% of previously unknown 2-(sulfanylmethyl)-1,3,4-benzothiadiazepin-5(2H)-one whose structure was confirmed by 1H and 13C NMR spectra.
