Abstract

New quinolin-2-one, indazole, and benzisoxazole derivatives were synthesized starting from chalcones. The synthesized compounds were characterized by elemental analyses, FTIR, 1H NMR, and mass spectra and evaluated for antibacterial and antifungal activities against Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis, and Candida albicans.
