Abstract
Polyfunctional silylureas with the carbamide group NHC(O)NH were synthesized for the first time by the reaction of 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane and isocyanates of various structures in toluene (50 wt %) for 6 h at 17–20°C. The products hold great promise for use in the chemistry of macromolecular compounds, in particular, as effective modifiers of epoxyanhydride systems.
