Abstract
Reactions of thiophosphoryl isothiocyanates with 3-(triethoxysilyl)propan-1-amine afforded new thiophosphorylated thioureas containing a triethoxysilyl group. The formation of 2: 1 complexes of 1-(di-butoxythiophosphoryl)-3-(3-triethoxysilylpropyl)thiourea with Co(II), Ni(II), and Zn(II) acetates was detected by MALDI mass spectrometry. The copper(II) complex underwent reduction to copper(I) during the recording of the MALDI mass spectrum, and signals from cluster ions [3M − 3H + 4Cu]+ were observed.
