Abstract
Reactions of α-nitroacrylates of aromatic series with malonic and acetylaminomalonic esters proceed in the presence of sodium alcoholates and lead to the formation in high yields of Michael adducts, precursors of modified analogs of γ-aminobutyric and glutamic acids.
