Synthesis of 8,10-dimethyl-1,10b-dihydro[1,3,5]triazino-[2,1-a]isoindole-2,4,6(3H)-trione by Direct arylation of 1,3,5-triazine-2,4(1H,3H)-dione

Abstract

Direct arylation of 1,3,5-triazine-2,4(1H,3H)-dione with mesitylene afforded a novel fused heterocyclic system, 8,10-dimethyl-1,10b-dihydro[1,3,5]triazino[2,1-a]isoindole-2,4,6(3H)-trione.
