Abstract

A technique has been developed for determining the stage rate constants of chemical reactions proceeding in an isothermal gradientless reactor according to the nonideal kinetic law of Marcelin–De Donder by non-stationary data. The technique allows estimating the ranges of variation in the values of the stage rate constants accounting for errors in measuring the concentrations of reagents without using optimization algorithms. An example is given that demonstrate a good accuracy of solving the inverse problem of estimating the values of the stage rate constants by the proposed technique for 4-tert-butylpyrocatechol synthesis.
