Relationship of the structure and ion-exchange properties of polyelectrolyte complexes based on biopolymers

Abstract

Ion-exchange properties of polyelectrolyte complexes based on lignosulfonates and chitosan were studied. Optimum conditions were found for preparing polymeric sorbents with the maximal sorption capacity for cationic and anionic pollutants.
