Hydrophobization of cellulose-containing materials with fluoroacrylic polymers and fatty carboxylic acids

The possibility of preparing highly hydrophobic and superhydrophobic coatings on the surface of cellulose-containing materials using fluorinated methacrylic polymers and fatty carboxylic acids was demonstrated. Contact angles of up to 156° and 158°, respectively, were reached.
