Abstract

The efficiency of fullerenes as a modifying agent was shown in the production of activated carbons from hydrolytic lignin. Introduction of fullerenes leads to the development of the porous structure of the adsorbent, increases hydrophobicity, and also improves the adsorption capacity of the material in the adsorption of organic and inorganic compounds from water.
