Research of extraction in system Ln(NO3)3-sodium dodecyl sulfate-isooctyl alcohol

Abstract

Extraction in a system sodium dodecyl sulfate-aqueous solution of a lanthanide salt-isooctyl alcohol was examined in the study. It was found that a distribution ratio was varied from 120 to 480 in a pH range of 3–6. Gibbs energy of solvation was determined: Δ s G°298 = −70.00 ± 1.30 kJ mol−1.
