Abstract

New complex of copper(I) with norbornene-substituted 1-H-2-pyridinylbenzimidazole ligand was synthesized. The compound obtained enters into a metathesis polymerization reaction to give carbochain coppercontaining copolymers exhibiting photo-and electroluminescent properties.
