Abstract

Possibility was analyzed of adjusting with hydrofluoric acid the electrolyte for chemical polishing of VT1-0 titanium articles, composed of acid ammonium fluoride and hydroxylamine hydrochloride. The technological capacity of the electrolyte was evaluated by the reflectivity and roughness of the titanium surface, and also by the specific dissolution rate of titanium in polishing.
