Synthesis and properties of synthetic analogs of natural humic acids

Abstract

A new procedure was suggested for preparing analogs of natural humic acids using as precursor a nitrogen-containing amphoteric polyelectrolyte prepared by condensation of pyrocatechol with hexamethylenetetramine. The physicochemical and spectral properties of the product were examined.
