Hybrid composites based on organic-inorganic sol-gel systems

Abstract

Hybrid organic-inorganic composites were developed on the basis of sodium silicate modified with ɛ-caprolactam or ɛ-aminocaproic acid and isocyanate-containing oligourethane with improved physicomechanical properties and water resistance.
