Kinetic regularities of synthesis of alkali silicates from silica hydrosols

Abstract

The method of colorimetric analysis based on the formation of colored β-silicon-molybdenum complex was used to study the formation kinetics of solutions of alkali metal silicates in the course of sol depolimerization.
