Acyclic polyimides based on dinitriles and dicarboxylic acids

Abstract

The mechanism of rearrangement of polycarboxyimidates prepared by the reaction of dinitriles with dicarboxylic acids at elevated temperature was studied. The solubility of the resulting acyclic polyimides was determined.
