Synthesis and identification of fullerenol prepared by the direct oxidation route

Abstract

A route was developed for synthesis of fullerenol, which was further identified by electron spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, optical microscopy, high-performance liquid chromatography, and mass spectrometry.
