Influence of surface layer formation on swelling of polyelectrolytic hydrogels in aqueous salt solutions

Abstract

Swelling and contraction of polyelectrolytic gels based on polyacrylamide/potassium polyacrylate in aqueous solutions of salts of metals in various oxidation states were studied.
