Removal of phenols from water with cross-linked starch composites

Abstract

Synthesis and physicochemical characteristics of a series of cross-linked starches, prepared with the aim of their use as sorbents, are reported. The synthesis is performed using epichlorohydrin in the presence of amination agents.
