Abstract

Differential scanning calorimetry and polarization microscopy were used to study the phase diagram of a mixture of nematic liquid crystals, 4-n-pentyl-4′-cyanobiphenyl and 4-n-octyloxyphenyl-4′-hexylbenzoate.
