Abstract

Effect of a hydroacoustic treatment in a rotary-pulsatory apparatus on the dissolution rate and the achievable limiting solubility of chitosan in aqueous acetic acid solutions of various concentrations was studied. The rheological properties of solutions produced by the conventional method and with mechanical activation were compared
