Abstract

Energetic efficiency of application of a hydroacoustic treatment in a rotary-pulsatory apparatus in initiation or acceleration of chemical processes in starch hydrogels was studied. The contribution of the acoustic and shear components of this treatment to the activation of systems under study was evaluated for the example of destruction, acid hydrolysis, and oxidation of gelatinized starch.
