Abstract
The polarization of a graphite anode in a CaCl2-CaO melt in the temperature range 790–870°C at CaO concentrations of 1–8 mol % and current densities of 10−2–10 A cm−2 was studied. The temperature and concentration dependences of the limiting current spent for the oxidation of oxygen ions were determined.
