Complexes of ortho-nitrophenols with aluminum bromide in nonaqueous solutions

Abstract

The reactions of 2-nitro-, 2-nitro-4,6-dichloro-, 2,4-dinitro-, and 2,4,6-trinitrophenols with aluminum bromide in nitromethane solution were studied by calorimetry and by 1H and 13C NMR.
