Improvement of low-temperature properties of diesel fuels

Abstract

Ways to improve low-temperature properties of summer diesel fuels by introduction of depressant additives and partial dewaxing of fuels in an electrostatic field are examined. Synthesis of amidopolyformaldehyde depressant additives for diesel fuels is described, and optimal synthesis conditions are determined.
