Hydrodynamic and bulk properties of dextrans in liquid media

Abstract

Bulk and viscous properties of solutions of dextrans of different molecular weights in formamide, water, and dimethyl sulfoxide were studied. The fractal dimension of the biopolymer was estimated from the hydrodynamic data.
