Sorption of lead and copper ions on synthetic apatite samples produced by melt thermal process

Abstract

The possibility of using calcium fluoro- and hydroxylapatites synthesized in a NaCl-KCl salt melt as sorbents of heavy metal ions from aqueous solutions was analyzed. The sorption products formed were identified by chemical and X-ray phase analyses and diffuse reflection spectroscopy.
