Abstract

Sulfonation of poly(glycidyl methacrylate) chains radiation-chemically grafted to nonwoven polypropylene was performed with sodium hydrosulfite in a water-dimethylformamide solution. Recommendations are given on optimization of the synthesis of a sorption-active hydrophilic polypropylene material bearing strongly acidic sulfo groups.
