Heterocoagulation of anionic and cationic latexes with particles bearing intrinsic charge

Abstract

Kinetics of coagulation of dilute latexes of styrene copolymers with methacrylic acid and N-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate is studied turbidimetrically. The pH dependence of the limiting turbidity of the coagulating dispersion, characterizing the heterocoagulation efficiency, is examined.
