Preparation of ion-exchange fiber from polypropylene waste with grafted polyacrylic acid

Abstract

A procedure was developed for preparing weakly acidic cation exchanger from polypropylene fiber wastes by grafting of acrylic acid to the preoxidized surface of the fiber in an aqueous solution.
