Sterically hindered nitrogen-containing compounds in radical polymerization of styrene

Abstract

The influence exerted on the radical polymerization of styrene by organic compounds containing a tert-butyl group and a nitrogen atom in various oxidation states (tert-butylamine, 2-methyl-2-nitrosopropane, 2-methyl-2-nitropropane) was examined.
