Preparative Method for Obtaining Benzylated Heterocyclic and Aromatic Amines in the Presence of Cerium-Containing Nanocatalysts

Abstract

The results of application of new catalytic reagents based on cerium dioxide nanoparticles and its composites with gold, hydroxyapatite, and polyvinylpyrrolidone to the reductive alkylation of heteroaromatic and heterocyclic amines with methyl 4formylbenzoate are presented. A highly efficient method for preparation of benzylated heterocyclic and aromatic amines is proposed.
